Distilled with great virtues are born from quality grapes ...

Grappa is a distillate obtained from the distillation of a solid raw material: marc, that is the grape skins after this has been pressed to make wine.


La Cantina del Conte is pleased to offer a wide range of grappas, different in terms of pomace, intensity, aging, color, etc.


The grappas available are, from the youngest to the most aged:


Grappa di Arneis : young, fragrant, transparent, 40%.

Grappa di Barbaresco : young, intense, medium dry, 45%.

Nebbiolo grappa:  young, delicate, fruity, 45%.

Grappa di Barbera : aged 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels, soft, pleasant, 40%.

Grappa di Moscato:  aged 3 years in 300 liter Slavonian oak barrels, very delicate, tending to sweet, pleasant, 40%.

Grappa di Barolo : amber, intensely scented, delicate, 45%.

Grappa Maddalena : distilled from Barbera (70%) and Nebbiolo (30%) pomace, aged for over 2 years in selected barriques, very soft and fragrant, 40%.

Grappa Severina : distilled from pomace of  Barbera (50%) and Nebbiolo (50%), aged in oak barrels for over 3 years, coppery and intense color, 40%.

Grappa Leonardo : named after the youngest member of the Pelissero family, decisive, intense and robust, it ages for over 10 years in oak barrels, 44%.





From sweet to savory, in the name of tradition ...

In the wine cellar of the cellar, in the heart of the village of Grinzane Cavour, at the foot of the imposing castle, it is possible not only to taste all the wines of the cellar, but also to buy all the products of the peasant tradition. Here you can find typical cold cuts and cheeses, jams and traditional appetizers. In the homeland of the white Alba truffle, the products dedicated to him cannot be missing, such as: truffle fondue, truffle brus, truffle oil and truffle toma. During the period of the international Alba white truffle fair it is possible, depending on availability, to buy truffles directly from the trifolao.  For the sweeter palates, delicacies cannot be missing, such as: nougat with gentle round hazelnuts from langa, white and black truffles (typical chocolates) and langarola cake.
